My name is Kelley Russell.  I am married to Rocky Russell and we reside in Rogersville. We have three daughters Kylie who is a senior at the University of Tennessee majoring in Dentistry.  Harper a Sophmore at Cherokee High School, and Landry a sixth grader at Rogersville City School.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family (usually watching sporting events), assisting with track and XC practices, reading, art, and tending to my flowers.  My family and I attend Shepard's Chapel Baptist Church.
I am a graduate of Cherokee High School, and East Tennessee State University where I earned a BS degree in Elementary Education.  I am certified to teach grades K-8.  Prior to graduating from E.T.S.U., I worked as a substitute teacher in the Johnson City School System.  I have also completed training through the East Tennessee Autism Project and have over thirty hours of professional development in this field.   The 2016-17 school year marks my 21st year teaching Kindergarten at Rogersville City School where I am currently a mentor teacher.  I implemented a service learning community "Kinder Community" within my classroom thirteen years ago that reaches individuals as well as organizations in need.  We have served the following outreach organizations throughout the Rogersville: H.B. Stamps Memorial Library, Habitat for Humanity, The Boy's and Girl's Cllub, Signature Health Care, Shepherd's Center, Relay for Life, and Souper Bowl of Caring.  I am currently the RCS head Cross Country Coach.  I previously co-sponsored our school's Jr. Beta Club for several years.  I am blessed to be an educator at Rogersville City School.
