Subjects Taught
2nd Grade

I graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. My teacher licensure is certified for PreK through third grade.

The 2016-2017 school year was my first year teaching at Rogersville City School. I taught second grade in Hamblen County for three years. I have many years of experience subbing and doing interim and assistant teaching posistions in Hawkins County as well. This is my sixth year in the classroom, and I am excited to be back home at Rogersville City School.

I am originally from Rogersville. My family moved to Sevierville in 1996. I graduated from Pigeon Forge High School with honors in 2004. I went on to attend the Univeristy of Tennessee where I majored in Nursing and Child and Family Studies. Marriage brought me back to Hawkins boys County in 2008, and I feel like I am back home. I graduated from ETSU in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.

My husband, Lance, and I have been married for 8 years. We have three little boys. Mason, Milan, and Maddox are the light of our lives. It is a blessing to watch them learn and grown everyday. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, baking, and camping. We love to travel and see new places.

My goal for my students is to socially and academically prepare them for kindergarten.
