Our 2nd Grade Newsletter     Week of March 4-8, 2019 Mr. Sandidge’s Class

 Announcements

·         Snacks: (Mar. 4-8): Bailey, Nehemiah, Elin, Avery, and Madison

·         Snacks (Mar. 11-15): Taylin, Eli, Harlen, Kaydan, and Noah

·         Students will be expected to read and complete their reading tests independently again this week. I will be available to help, but they will be doing all reading on their own. Students are no longer able to correct their Reading tests. Please remind your child that they should take their time and continue to use the test taking skills we have discussed.

·         The Reading Counts goal to attend the movie at the end of the year is 75 points. Please encourage your child to read a Reading Counts book nightly to ensure that they meet their goal before the April deadline.

·         The last day to order a yearbook is March 8th. There will be very few extra yearbooks ordered. If you would like a yearbook, please preorder by March 8th.

·         Spring Break will be March 18-22, 2019.

·         Please sign this sheet on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights to signify that your child has completed all homework assignments. Your child will turn this sheet in on Friday.
