We dismiss at 2:55. Please make sure your child knows how they will be getting home.

Please send a note if it is different from the way they normally go home.                                                                                          

 

Students may bring a leak proof water bottle to keep on their desk.  

 

 Grading Scale                                                    Snack Schedule for the First Two Weeks - 2016

A = 90 – 100+                                       Week of Aug. 15th- Khalid, Alyssa, Karyssa, Anthony and Cheyenne

B = 80 - 89                                           need to send in 18 healthy snacks for the class.                                  

C = 70 – 79                              

D = 60 – 69                                           Week of Aug. 22nd- Grayson, Heidi, Peyton, Aden, and Ethan need to send in                                                    

F = 0 – 59                                             18 healthy snacks for the class.                                 

 

Grade Cards – Our school runs on 9 week grading periods. We will only get 4 Grade Cards throughout the school year. (I will send home Mid Term Grades to let you know how your child is progressing.)

AUGUST 8th - 12th -- Required In-Service for Teachers

AUGUST 15, Monday -- FIRST DAY FOR STUDENTS - Abbreviated Day (Dismiss at 11:30 Teachers/Assistants work - full day)

MAY 31, WEDNESDAY -- LAST FULL DAY OF CLASSES FOR STUDENTS 7:55-2:55

JUNE 1, THURS. -- Required In-Service for Teachers (NO STUDENTS)

JUNE 2, FRIDAY -- LAST DAY OF SCHOOL - Abbreviated Day, Students are dismissed after picking up Report Cards.

All testing dates will be determined at a later date.

We will have 12 snow days this year. In the event of snow Rogersville City School will be running on a 2-hour delay (school starting at 9:55) or we will be closed depending on the weather. Please sign-up on School Cast and you will receive a phone message, listen to WRGS, watch the local television stations or check the school web-site at www.rcschool.net for information.  NO NOTIFICATION MEANS SCHOOL IS ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE.
