Block Scheduling

How does a change of schedule impact teaching and learning? How do you choose a schedule that best fits your school?  Which teaching strategies work best when you are teaching in a longer block of time? Hear from educational expert Robert Lyn Canady who has been following block scheduling since it became widely used throughout the United States.   Listen to principals who have been on the “block” for over a decade, and teachers who have successfully taught in the “block” for many years. Visit with schools in a 4x4 block, rotating A/B schedules, trimesters, hybrids, middle level hybrids and elementary models. Sample schedules are available for you to use as you develop your own schedule. If your school is thinking of moving to the “block”, this program is for you. If you are already on the “block”, your teachers will gain key insights into new ways to increase student outcomes.

Integrating Technology into the Classroom

Understanding technology applications is one thing, utilizing and integrating these applications into your classroom instruction is surely another.
