As part of Rogersville City School's Innovative Schools Model grant, RCS 7th graders visited the campus of Northeast State Community College to learn about the many career programs available there. The grant's overarching goal is to ensure that graduating 8th graders are empowered to make informed decisions as they choose their Focus Plan of Study for secondary school.  In addition to learning about their own unique personalities and interests, the grant aims to increase student awareness of the post-secondary opportunities available to them.

After a presentation about Northeast State’s programs, students toured the college’s various departments and got a close-up look at the many opportunities available there.
