This is my 13th year of teaching music and my 4th year teaching at RCS. I got my undergraduate music education degree at Carson Newman University and my masters in curriculum and instruction at Lincoln Memorial University. I lead the RCS Singers and also am a picture day and yearbook coordinator.

6 RCS students auditioned against hundreds of East Tennessee middle school students to be selected as part of the 2024 All-East Middle School Honor Choir. 8th graders Vada Beatty, Taylin Fender, and Cadence Jarnigan along with 7th graders Haddley Ewing, Shane Farmer, Grey Kirkpatrick will take part in rehearsals November 22 at Lee University and will perform on November 23 with other students across the region. This is the first time in school history that students at RCS have participated!

Tickets go on sale for the RCS production of Disney's Moana JR this Sunday, April 7!

Tickets for the RCS production of Disney's Moana JR go on sale April 7, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. There will be three community performances this year. The show opens on Sunday, April 5, at 3:00 p.m. Then there will be two 7:00 performances on May 10 and May 11.
All tickets are sold online and are reserved seating only. The digital box office will remain open until an hour before showtime. Ticket cost is $8.00.

RCS Music Theater has released the cast list for its upcoming spring production, Moana JR!
RCS Music Theater has released the cast list for its upcoming spring production, Moana JR. Students submitted video auditions over Christmas break and then performed in callback auditions in early January.
Community performances of Moana JR are set for May 3-5, 2024.

The RCS Music Theater Program is now accepting video auditions for its spring musical, Moana Jr. The deadline to submit video auditions is Saturday, December 30. Callbacks will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, at 3 p.m. in the RCS Auditorium. Auditions are open to students in grades 5-8.
Students need to join the Moana Jr Google Classroom to access audition music, scripts, and to upload their audition videos. The join code is 3wxy662.
