RCS Cross Country Teams Qualify for State

For the first time in school history, both boys and girls Cross Country teams qualified for the TMSAA State Championship in the same year. The girls' team took home first place in the Class A Cross Country sectional while the boys' earned third place. Finishing with All Region accolades & top 10 finishes were Elizabeth Coward 3rd, Meredith Moses 6th, Kristen Gillett 7th, & Brooke Nelson 10th. Nicole Nelson & Kendra Fields also had strong showings finishing 24th & 28th.  For the boys' team, Lofton Looney was named All Region, finishing 5th while Adonis Kincaid earned 2nd Team All Region with a 12th place finish. Holden Sattler barely missed All Region 2nd Team coming in at 16th. Noah Hawk finished strong in the 33rd spot while Clay Houck had a course PR coming in at 39th. Brayden Albright finished in 47th with a big performance and newcomer Isaac Bryan finished in the 65th position with a course PR. Both teams will now compete @ the TMSAA State XC Championships on October 3rd in Clarksville, TN.
