The Lady Warriors Volleyball team repeated as State Sectional Runner-up in Saturday's championship game against Newport Grammar.  The team emerged atop a tough pool, defeating Jellico, Boones Creek, and a previously unbeaten Lake City team.  Following a win over North Greene in the semi-final match, the Lady Warriors fell in the championship match (25-18, 25-14). 8th grader Trinity Williams was selected to the East Sectional All-Tournament team.

This stellar volleyball season set a new record for the most wins in school history with a final record of 19-5.  Although the program will be losing 8 eighth graders, they return three current varsity players who all gained substantial regular rotation throughout the season.

"I'm so proud of these girls. We had an amazing season, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for them".
