The Lady Warriors defeated Ridgeview Middle School in straight sets Saturday on the opening day of the Area I volleyball tournament hosted at Cherokee High School. They advance to the semi-finals and will play Boones Creek Middle School at 6:15 at Cherokee on Tuesday, September 27. The win qualifies them for the State Sectional Tournament to be held October 1 at John Sevier Middle School in Kingsport.
