RCS's Junior Beta Club sent three of its members to compete at the Tennessee State Junior Beta Convention for the first time in school history and brought home a 5th place award. With thousands of students in attendance from across the state, 7th graders Laney Bradley, Haddley Ewing, and 6th grader Olivia Sacharnoski placed 5th in the Performing Arts - Solo, Duo, Trio Variety Act category. Although the club has qualified for Nationals in other events, they hope to expand the number of students attending at the state level next year.
