Rogersville City Lady Warriors defeated Jackson C&T, 72-19, on Saturday as Rylee Sivert scored 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. The Lady Warriors never trailed in the game. Leading 4-2, the team went on an 18-point run to pull further away. Leading 31-8, Rogersville City Lady Warriors went on a 23-1 run to pull further away. They got out to a 43-8 lead at halftime before closing out the victory, outscoring Jackson C&T 27-4.
The team's 13-23 shooting on twos was a key factor in the game. Sivert and Kenady Deal each hit multiple three-pointers for Rogersville City Lady Warriors. The team shot 11-31 (35%) from beyond the arc. Sivert made eight of 11 free throws, and RCS attempted 17. The Lady Warriors played stifling defense, blocking seven shots and grabbing 12 steals. They also passed the ball well with 15 assists on 24 made baskets. Sivert led the team with five assists. Sivert led Rogersville City Lady Warriors with 11 rebounds. Deal (26 points), Karlie Gray (7 points), Tinsley Gladson (2 points), Harlen Hayes (2 points), Elin Bryan (2 points), and Molli Stuffle (2 points) also pitched in for Rogersville City Lady Warriors.
The Lady Warriors finished their storybook season with a perfect record, 33-0.
