Jennifer Ewing
During her first grade year at RCS, Taylin Fender experienced acute vision loss due to complication from Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, a rare reaction to medication. Despite many obstacles, she was able to flourish and continue her education at RCS through 5th grade.
The start of the 22-23 school year brought a new, exciting adventure for Taylin as she enrolled at the Tennessee School for the Blind in Nashville. In typical fashion, she has thrived at her new school and was selected by faculty and staff at TSB as the Middle School Student of the Year!
Congratulations to Taylin!
