5th grader Jackson Davenport emerged with the top spot at the RCS 2023 Spelling Bee on Wednesday, January 11. Fellow 5th grader Alma Baumbach claimed the runner-up position. Grade level winners in grades 4-8 competed in the bee which was live-streamed via Zoom. Jackson will advance to the regional Spelling Bee in Knoxville. Congratulations to Jackson and all our participants!
