In a special ceremony thanking our veterans for their service and sacrifice, RCS celebrated Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Area veterans were recognized, and RCS students shared poems, essays, and display boards highlighting veterans in their families. The RCS Choir and Band each performed special selections before special guest speaker, Master Sergeant Travis Greene, spoke to students about the importance of service and sacrifice. Extra thanks to Music Teacher Beth Jarnigan and Band Instructor Andy Hipshire for organizing the program. Most of all, thank you to our veterans!
