RCS Track Team competed Saturday in the Northeast State Sectional at Daniel Boone HS. Top four finishers in each event qualified for the State Championship, which will take place on May 22 at Austin Peay University outside of Nashville.  The meet featured 16 small school teams from the region and RCS did not disappoint.  The Warriors boasted two sectional champions: 7th grader Lofton Hayes in the 200m and 8th grader Kristen Gillett in the 400m.

There were also two sectional runner-up finishes. 6th Grader Elizabeth Coward took 2nd place in the 800m and the Boys' 4x100m Relay Team (7th graders Adonis Kincaid and Auston Leach, 8th grader Lucas Williams, and 7th grader Lofton Hayes) also placed 2nd.
