For the first time in program history, the RCS Lady Warriors Volleyball team has won the Area 2 regular season, finishing with a 13-0 area record! The Lady Warriors (17-2 overall) came close in the previous 3 seasons when they finished 2nd each year. Thursday night's regular season Area 2 games were all canceled due to weather, but all final seedings were already set despite any potential outcomes. It's also the first time in program history to finish the Area undefeated.
The Lady Warriors open post-season play on Monday, September 30th, when they face local Area 2 opponent, Rogersville Middle in a 4:00 match hosted at Cherokee High School.
